The indoor drop cables dominate among FTTH deployments. They have a 'bow-type' design, a flat cable with which a simple stripper tool can work and easy termination leads.

2️⃣ Armored Bow-type Drop Cable
This cable is designed for outdoor applications that require resistance to harsh environments, including stiffness, abrasion, and exposure. To enhance resistance to rodents and crush, it is equipped with steel wires or corrugated armor, either in the inner sheath or the outer layer.
- Structure: FRS + Steel with gap, or UF or Armor
